Tucker Robbins

James Tucker Robbins (a.k.a. "Tucker"): While I am proud to be the latest in a long line of "James" in our family, for the sake of originality I am going to go by "Tucker" for now. Tucker the boy, not the car, the guy with the bow tie on Fox or the player of the year candidate from Wisconsin. With Parents from Baltimore, I'm just happy I didn't wind up with something too cutsie (Skip, Scooter, etc.) and/or androgynous (Carey, Casey, etc.).

Tuckered Out

After a long day at Johnny Rockets and the Air and Space Museum, I was exhausted. I actually fell asleep as soon as Mom laid me in my car seat - I couldn't even stay awake long enough to wrestle with her over the buckles.

Air and Space Museum

Mom and Aunt Maggie took me to the Air and Space Museum. While we were there, I noticed that they already have a plane named after me. Sure, it looks a little worse for wear, but how many planes do you have named after you?

Great Great Uncle Jack

Here are four generations of Amster men posing at Great, Great Uncle Jack's 90th birthday party. I'm just hoping I can grow facial hair like Jack and Grandpa - Daddy couldn't grow a beard if his life depended on it.

Daddy's Tie

Dad came home and posed for a quick photo. It seemed innocent enough, but when he wasn't looking, I grabbed his tie and yanked it for all I was worth.

I had no idea that it was five-fold Italian - it looked like a domestic, lined tie to me. Who knew?

Coffee with Grandma

This is a photo of Grandma and me enjoying our morning cup of joe on the patio. This was taken back in June (6/24), but Mom and Dad lost it in the move/computer rebuild and only just recovered it, so I am posting it here.

Whole Milk Infused Polenta

Last night I made my first forray into eating solid foods. I'm not sure why a thin slurry of milk and rice cereal is considered, "solid," but I digress.

I found the rice a bit too "al dente" and the overall consistency too thin. That said, thanks to Mom's persistence, I ate the whole bowl and even then posed afterwards with the clean plate, like a conquering hero.

(Special thanks to Mark and Megan for the coolio china)

Down in One

Extra special thanks to Cousin Jack for noticing I was thirsty and jamming his sippy cup into my mouth. Once we got it right-side-up, I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Next week I am hoping he teaches me his one-handed technique.

Eddie the Eagle

Question: Amid rising college tuition costs and increasingly stringent admissions standards, how does a caucasian male from an above average income bracket stand a chance? Three words - ski jumping scholarship. I'm not kidding - look at that form. I'm a natural.

I'm working on it!

I know what you're thinking - cute outfit, but look at how his gut hangs over his waistband. All I can say to you is try eating nothing but whole milk and napping in between meals and get back to me with what happens to your figure.

Gilligans Island

Maybe this hat makes me look like Gilligan. Maybe the camera caught me sucking on Mom's hands. Maybe I'm so cute you won't remember anything else.

7/7/7 Party

This is baby Jack (not to be confused with Cousin Jack) and I doing our best impression of a pre-fight weigh in. He definitely has me in weight, reach and hair.

Aunt Jane

Don't let the look fool you - I am every bit as excited as Jane is - but when it is this hot, even smiling feels like work.
