Tucker Robbins

James Tucker Robbins (a.k.a. "Tucker"): While I am proud to be the latest in a long line of "James" in our family, for the sake of originality I am going to go by "Tucker" for now. Tucker the boy, not the car, the guy with the bow tie on Fox or the player of the year candidate from Wisconsin. With Parents from Baltimore, I'm just happy I didn't wind up with something too cutsie (Skip, Scooter, etc.) and/or androgynous (Carey, Casey, etc.).

Morning Nap w/ Dad

This is what vacation is all about - keeping Mom and Dad up half the night only to sleep soundly through most of the rest of the day. If the big fella would get rid of that blackberry, he might get some rest too.

CAUTION: Overexposure to warm milk, white noise and human contact may cause your child to melt.

Swimming w/ Mom

Now that's what I'm talking about. Kicking back in my inflatable La-Z-Boy recliner while Mom pushes me all over the pool. What a life!

Do I make you laugh?

I mean seriously people, matching outfits? What are we clowns for you? This is the kind of crap people pull with twins, not cousins that are a year apart.

For the record, Jack is trying to help "wake me up." In no way should this photo be misconstrued as him punching me in the face - at least not for another few years.

Swimming with Aunt Maggie

Back at Cath's place, Aunt Maggie took me for a swim in a more hospitable body of water - the pool. All-in it wasn't too bad, but I can't shake the feeling that she enjoyed it a lot more than I did.

Gulf of Mexico

For the record, I did NOT like the Gulf of Mexico. That thing is way too cold.

(As an aside, Dad thinks I am spoiled since in my first 14 weeks, I have already visited the Pacific, the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico. To Dad, all I can say is, "it takes one to know one.")

Port Royal Club

After lunch with Aunt Cath at the Port Royal Club in Naples we posed for a quick photo shoot. Aside from the fact that we make quite a dashing pair, I love that we coordinated our outfits for the day. Thanks again for hosting us!

L.C.?

S.C. is convinced that I look just like him. I'll admit that I look more like him than Jack does, but I think the nose is going to come in more Celtic than Etruscan.

How about a 5,2,9 Trifecta?

This is the face I make when Mom decides to wager a bit of my college fund on an exotic Preakness bet. I'm not sure which is worse, her goofy exacta or Dad's doubling down on a 30-1 horse that has career winnings less than the blue book value of a used bugaboo.

Black Eyed Susan

Mom, Dad, S.C. and Aunt Maggie left my cousin Jack and me with Poopsie for the day while they went to play the ponies. That Poopsie plays a mean zone defense, but by the end of the day, the Jack/Tucker two-on-one break was starting to get the better of her.

Exersaucer

Here I am taking my inaugural spin in my exersaucer. As you can see from the big pillow propping me up, I am not quite big enough for this yet, but keep those "Parents of the Year" votes coming in.

Sunrise at Old Hilltop

By now you have gotten the sense that I was born into a fairly eccentric family. This photo is additional evidence. Apparently the Friday before Preakness every year, these people get to the track at 7:30 to watch the morning workouts and tour the stakes barns. After a nap and lunch, they head back to the track for a day of racing.

Mother's Day

Here I am waking up on my first Mother's Day with Poopsie. Mom seemed to appreciate the gift of extra sleep.

"Pretty Boy" Tucker Robbins

Remember when Floyd Mayweather Jr. used to enter the ring in a Carolina blue robe? Pound for pound, I am so much cuter it isn't even a contest.

Cap'n Tucker

This one goes out to all my friends at DHS. Forget shoe bombs and box cutters, if the terrorists really want to get into the cockpit of the plane, all they need is a cutie pie like me in their arms!

Red Nellie

Um, somebody better warn Colin, because Janelle looks awfully comfortable holding me in this picture. What can I say, I am huge with recently married women.

Mini Me

Aside from a Y chromosome and a last name, I'm not quite sure what I inherited from Dad. I have Mom's hair color, skin tone, eyes, temperment, etc. Every now and then the big fella gets a little down about the whole thing, so I try to cheer him up by putting on a matching outfit. Here we are posing at the Hotel Del in Coronado.

George's at the Cove

George's has a beautiful ocean view and outstanding fish tacos, but what's with their drinks?

I got too close to Mom's Strawberry Basil Caipirinha and nearly singed my nose hairs. Look at me - I look like I have been sniffing ether. Do they make those things with jet fuel?

What the devil is Fugu?

Mom, Dad and I caught last call at Rappongi in La Jolla. In addition to rolling a bunch of complimentary sushi for us, the chef paused to take this rarely seen photo of all three of us. Does anyone happen to know if tetrodotoxin crosses the milk barrier?

Clubbing in La Jolla

Here I am all decked out in my sweater vest and jeans, ready for a night on the town. Sure, that look may not get you past the velvet rope, but for me, "it works all the time." Thanks Billy D!

I'm Ron Burgundy?

Here I am arriving in San Diego. "San Diego was originally founded by the Germans in 1905. . . "

Lunch at The Commission

Here I am hanging out with my buddy Jacob while Mom has lunch with all of her friends from work.
